Mourik is one of two parties that is responsible for the maintenance of the main road network of South Holland, where Mourik is responsible for the southern section. To be able to carry out these maintenance activities Mourik had to expand its vehicle fleet to manage potential incidents.

Mourik expanded its traffic fleet with eight arrow warning trailers and three VW 1700 S VMS-trailers. All these trailers are equipped with solar panels to operate as climate-neutral stand-alone nearly the whole year.

These VW 1700 S VMS-trailers are delivered with the following specifications:

• 112 x 80 pixels Swarco LED display – 3G6 ECO
• LED lighting
• Foldable chevron panels to use the VMS-trailers as a warning trailer
• Eight deep-cycle batteries
• Five 200 Wp solar panels
• Three portable rumble strips
• Traffic Fleet control

These arrow warning trailers are delivered with the following specifications:

• Alternating LED arrow
• Six deep-cycle batteries
• Three 150 Wp solar panels
• Three portable rumble strips
• One spare wheel
• Traffic Fleet control
