Thanks to smart-mobility applications the safety of road supervisor and motorists can be enhanced during incident management. The road supervisor can swiftly leave the vehicle on its arrival and can remotely control all functionalities of the Autodrip, such as the emergency beacon, lift unit and LED display with a tablet.
Furthermore, we have developed a module that can be used for cooperative systems. This is based on the 5G network, also known as Wi-Fi P. Thanks to this technology, an alert message of the road supervisor can be received by the smartphone or navigation system of the motorists one kilometre in advance of the incident (usually referred to as early warning). This combination of technologies should reduce the number of accidents with vehicles of road supervisors.

Our Autodrip has been nominated for the Intertraffic Innovation Award 2016. 91 applicants in the Safety category were narrowed down to three nominees and EBO van Weel is one of those three. On the 5th of April the winner will be presented during the Intertraffic 2016 in Amsterdam.
